| | June 2007: ENMaR Workshop "All in a flow"

| On
June 5th the last official workshop in the series of workshops
organised by the ENMaR project took place. This workshop tried to
address once again all ENMaR-themes (spatial planning, tourism, water
services as well as agriculture and forestry). In addition a
questionnaire was handed out to ask, what themes need to be covered in

| January 2007: Lower Saxony Water Management, Coastal Defence and Nature
Conservation Agency publishes Work Plan for Ems, Elbe, Weser, and Rhine | | | The Lower Saxony Water Management,
Coastal Defence and Nature Conservation Agency (NLWKN) asks citizens
for their opinion about the further process of implementation. On www.nlwkn.de,
the NLWKN has published the work plan and schedule for the
implementation of the WFD for Weser, as well as for Ems, Elbe and
Rhine. The documents are also available at the departments of the
NLWKN (http://www.niedersachsen.de/master/
C5975449_N5457767_L20_D0_I5231158).
Citizens
are called on for assistance! The WFD provides for them to be directly
involved in its implementation and advance their opinion to the
authorities in charge.
They can do this at three different hearing levels.
