Spatial Planning and Water Management in the North West Region 14th October 2005, Manchester 10am to 2pm For this seminar, Tim Hill, Director of Planning, Transport and Sustainability at the North West Regional Assembly was the keynote speaker exploring the North West Regional Spatial Strategy and how it relates to water. The seminar also considered rural land use planning, with presentations on United Utilities Sustainable Catchment Management Programme (SCAMP) and the issues of diffuse pollution from agriculture. We also did some groupwork with the participants, for that we prepared some questiones (questionaire I, questionaire II), which were supposed to be answered during the groupwork.
